![]() Well, here you are, my first readers. Officially, we're off to a slow start, but unofficially, the next few weeks of posts are already written. The next few posts will be short stories including a story about me stalking some cautious does in Milford Mill, Maryland, and taking my son, Connor, scouting with me for the first time. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them, and if I can bring you into the story with me, I'll call this endeavor a success. Hunters and non-hunters alike have told me that they felt like they were right there, living my story with me as they read them. I hope to tap into those emotions with you. I am an amateur, however aspiring, writer and I welcome your feedback once that portion of my site is up and running. Until then, check back often as I will post whenever I have something I think you'd like to read. And by all means, lace up your boots, grab your bow, pole, or camera, and get outside and enjoy our beautiful world! "A hunt measured in trophies alone falls short of its true glory." -Fred Bear

Bill TomlinI am a father, husband, friend, hunter, and fisher. My two passions are my family and the outdoors. I hunt and fish whenever I can. I use what I harvest, and I harvest only what I use. I love and respect nature and the symphony of life she plays when my presence goes unnoticed. Archives
